On April 10, 2016, First Congregational United Church of Christ honored all who have been members of our church for twenty five years or more. These members received letters of invitation to the service and were asked to stand to be recognized for their long-term membership and support of our church. Members belonging fifty years or more received flowers with help from the children in the congregation. Pictures of the 50 + year members attending are shown above.
A special coffee hour followed the service to show appreciation for all our members who have supported the church over the years.
Members belonging fifty or more years include: Charlotte Jackson, Dorothy Dudley, Arthur "Bing" Steffen, Douglas Whitney, Carol Johnston, Jean Whitney, Gerald Evans, Lois Evans, Marjorie Brooks, David Mosher, Donald Naetzker, Dorothy Naetzker, Arthur Wilson, Jean Wilson, Martha Holmes, James Dudley, Dewey Jackson, Jr., Sally Forgensi, and Robert Wagner.
A list of 135 members was included in the bulletin and appears in the April Epistle. It was wonderful to see so many of these members in church for this service! Thank you to all who helped to recognize these members.
