April 21, 2019
HAPPY EASTER!

THIRD SUNDAY/SECOND MILE OFFERING:  The envelope in your bulletin is for the “Third Sunday – Second Mile Offering” to support the work of the Board of Missions and Outreach.

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL PROGRAM MEETING will be held following worship on May 12th. Annual reports will be distributed and the election of officers and board members will be held. Annual reports from officers, boards and committees are due in the church office by APRIL 28th.

CANAL DAYS PARKING FUND RAISER: This year’s parking proceeds will be going to the church instead of the youth mission trip.  The church needs your help parking cars on June 1 and 2.  If you can help, please sign-up on the rolling bulletin board in fellowship hall. If you have any questions contact Brian Sherry at 585-233-1010.

FREE HYMNALS:  Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, we soon will have new hymnals. If you would like to keep an old hymnal that was dedicated to a loved one, please take it any time. If you would simply like to have a keepsake of the music of the past 40 years at our church, please take a hymnal any time. Any hymnals that you take home will reduce the impact on our landfill, so we thank you! If you have any other ideas for recycling the hymnals, please share them with Worship Ministries.

MORNING CIRCLE:  Our May meeting location has changed. On May 14 we will meet at the church, not at Muriel Gabbey’s house.

BOOK CLUB:  On Monday, April 29, at 1:00 p.m. we will meet to discuss The Whole Town's Talking by Fannie Flagg

SCOTTISH/IRISH DREAM FUNDRAISER TRIP: Sept 28-Oct 11, 2019; 14 Days, 23 meals. Motorcoach through Scotland to see Glasgow, Edinburgh, Isle of Skye & more; then take a ferry to Ireland to motorcoach to see Dublin, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher & much more. Overnight at Banratty Castle + a medieval farewell dinner! Put Tuesday, May 14 on your calendar. A tour representative will be at our church to give a presentation about our tour from 11:00-noon...this meeting is for both people signed up & also those who might be interested (7 places left). Contact Steve Smith 425-3569 for a flyer & sign-up sheet or go on the church website to download them.

LIGHT THE NIGHT: Thank you to Barb Roscoe for keeping the steeple lights burning bright during the month of April in memory of Bill Roscoe.

PERINTON FOOD SHELF:  The most needed items are bottled juice, pancake mix, syrup, jelly, applesauce, ketchup, mustard, rice, mayonnaise, fruit cocktail, cake mixes, brownie mixes, frosting, salad oil, coffee, tomato products (not spaghetti sauce), cans of sloppy joe/Manwich, hash, beef stew, and chili.
