CORONAVIRUS PROCEDURES CONTINUE THROUGH JUNE:  Out of care for one another during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we continue to keep "social distance."  As a result of this the Church Council has decided to suspend all in-person Worship Services, Book & Bible Studies until further notice. The building will be closed to all meetings and activities. If you need to contact Pastor Greg he can be reached by email at or by phone at (585) 966-9416. Vicki will be working from home as much as possible. The best way to reach her is by email at She will be checking the voicemail at the church so, if you call, please leave a message and someone will get back to you. If you have a pastoral emergency call Pastor Greg directly at his phone number above. Pastor Greg will record an abbreviated Service each Sunday that will be uploaded to our church’s website each Sunday. All our Church Boards and Church Council will conduct meetings via conference calls, Zoom, or email. UPDATE: The re-opening of churches is part of Phase 4 of the New York Forward Reopening Plan. Assuming that Phases 1-3 progress without “tripping the circuit breaker”, the earliest we can expect to open is the beginning of July.

FACE MASKS ARE STILL AVAILABLE:  If you need a face mask to be safer during the Corona virus pandemic, we have some available for free at church. They are 100% cotton, with a wire across the top to mold to the bridge of the nose. They have elastic that goes around the neck and the top back of the head. They have a pocket for a filter. The CDC says that coffee filters work well. To sanitize after use, machine wash and tumble dry. If you need a fabric mask, please email Vicki Sherry at or call the church at 585-223-0224 and leave a voice message (include your name, address, phone number, and the number of masks you need). Pastor Greg or Jill O'Connor will deliver the mask in a Ziplock bag to your porch.

THE ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL PROGRAM MEETING – NEW DATE:  With the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions our Annual Program Meeting planned for June 14 has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 12, immediately following the worship service. However, the Annual Program Report is being prepared, and will be sent by email for your review prior to the meeting. In the meantime, Church Council is continuing with the business of our Church, but we need your help! The Boards of Worship Ministries, Christian Education, Family Ministries and Membership all have openings that need to be filled for 2020 - 2021. If you are interested in serving on any of these Boards, or as a Member At Large of Church Council, please contact our Moderator, Doug Strong, at

CHECK OUT PASTOR'S BLOG:  Pastor Greg is doing a weekly Pastor's Blog Bible Study & Reflections on our church's website during this time of social distancing. The Pastor's Blog will be posted each Thursday. Click on Pastor's Blog in the above menu.

STEWARDSHIP:  With Church Services on hold we still need your support. I know I will miss the chance to put in the weekly envelope. Well here is some good news! We have a variety of ways to continue our support. You can mail a check to the church covering your regular pledge amount or use your own bank’s online bill-pay feature. Alternatively, you may use the “Donate” tab on our church website (note: PayPal charges a fee for the website payments). Or you can transfer Stock (you may want to let the market bounce back first). Whatever way you choose to continue your support know that our church family appreciates the ongoing support! Thank you. ~Brad Bowersox, Stewardship Chair.

LIGHT THE NIGHT:  Thank you to David and Janice Coon for keeping the steeple lights burning bright throughout the month of May in honor of Carolyn Coon. Thank you to the DeLorenze family for “Lighting the Night” through the month of June in celebration of their new niece.
