OFFERING:  Our offerings and pledges may be placed in the baskets by the tracing logs in Fellowship Hall or by the front entrance or may be mailed into the church. Thank you for your generous support of our church.

THIRD SUNDAY/SECOND MILE OFFERING: Next Sunday is the 3rd Sunday of the month. The “3rd Sunday-Second Mile Offering” supports the work of the Board of Missions. Anyone wishing to contribute to this special offering may write a check payable to First Congregational UCC and write “Second Mile Offering” on the memo line of your check. You can mail your donation to the church or put it in the collection basket next Sunday.

EPISTLE DEADLINE:  The deadline for the July/August issue of the Epistle Newsletter is this Thursday, June 17th.

FINAL CONFIRMATION SESSION:  Our last Confirmation Session will be today from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. at Mt. Rise United Church of Christ. Confirmands are asked to have chosen their sponsor as well as submitting their Confirmation Reflection to Pastor Greg.

VBS AUGUST 4TH, 5TH, AND 6TH  from 9am until 12 noon. We will have a Rocky Wrap-Up Celebration during the worship service on August 8th. Registration is open for participants and volunteers. VBS is open to all children who have completed Kindergarten through the completion of 5th grade. We are looking for adult and pre-teen/teen volunteers for our in-person VBS. Any child who has completed 6th grade through 12th grade is welcome to volunteer. You can Volunteer for one day, two days or all three days- We have opportunities of all shapes and sizes ranging from decorating, crew leader, crew assistant leader, game crew or snack helper. THE CONGREGATION'S HELP IS NEEDED to fill volunteer positions for the 2021 - 2022 Church Program Year, which begins on June 1st. Please consider your ability to serve on Church Council as Assistant Moderator, or as a member of the Board of Family Ministries, Membership or Trustees.
 
MASKS:
 Currently, you are not required to wear a mask indoors if you have been fully vaccinated. However, out of an abundance of caution, we do ask that you wear your mask while singing. Thank you so much for your willingness to consider the health of others worshipping in our sanctuary.

IN-PERSON WORSHIP:  For everyone's safety, please continue to observe all COVID safety protocols including signing the contact tracing log and maintaining social distancing. There be no paper bulletins handed out. Please print out the bulletin (from your email or the church website) and bring it with you or scan the QR code on your phone or tablet as you enter the church. There will not be any prayer request cards in the pews. If you have a prayer request, please send it to Pastor Greg via email at revgregrup.ucc@gmail.com by 8:00 on Sunday morning. We will be streaming the virtual Worship Service on Facebook Live. You can watch using this link: https://www.facebook.com/First-Congregational-United-Church-of-Christ-Fairport-NY-174043249305098/. An audio Worship Service will be recorded and downloaded to our church’s website (www.fairportucc.org) each Sunday by 11:15 A.M. If any member of your household tests positive for COVID-19, less than 14 days from their last time in the church, it is imperative that you contact Pastor Greg (revgregrup.ucc@gmail.com) and our Moderator, Doug Strong (strongs@frontiernet.net) right away. 

FIRST CHURCH BOOK CLUB:  The date for our June meeting has been changed to June 21st at 1:00 in the Snow Room. Please bring your suggestions for next year to the planning meeting on June 21st.

2021 FUNDRAISING TRIP UPDATE - ISRAEL:  The Oct '21 Germany river cruise has been postponed. However, we have a new opportunity. Celebrity Cruises is offering an 8-day sailing Sep 27 - Oct 3, 2021: Athens-Santorini-Crete-at sea-Haifa, Israel-Ashdod, Israel- at sea-at sea-Athens! With 2 1/2 days docked at Israel, I'll be booking private touring, if there is interest. Sites include the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Jerusalem, Wailing Wall, Gethsemane, Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, and Masada. The ship is only accommodating up to 50% capacity. Guests must be fully vaccinated. The deposit is $500 per cabin, refundable up to Jun 26, 2021. Single rates available on request.
