BOB WAGNER'S BIRTHDAY is June 9, and he would like to invite his church family to attend his party.  Bea Benedict will play Bach at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at the Fairport Baptist Home.  At 3:00 there will be cake and time to socialize with Bob in the McKnight Room. Bob loves to see his church friends.

OFFICE SCHEDULE CHANGES THIS WEEK:  Vicki will be in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday; Sue will be in the office on Friday; Neither of them will be in the office on Monday (Memorial Day) or Thursday.

GOLF FUNDRAISER:  The 7th Annual Fairport Baptist Homes “SWING for SENIORS” Golf Classic will take place on July 19 at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor. This day of fun with others, and hopefully good golf, is a fundraiser to benefit Fairport Baptist Homes’ mission to provide quality care for the seniors in our community. Please consider recruiting friends (or playing solo) and joining in on what has become a very popular event. EVENING CIRCLE will meet Monday, June 12, at 6:30 at Kay Dorr's home for our end of year picnic. We will also be planning for next year.  Please bring a dish to pass and some great ideas! Place settings and dessert will be provided.

GARAGE SALE:  I WANT YOU TO HELP with the Church Garage Sale on June 8, 9, 10 2017 - The Church Garage sale is a Win-Win-Win-Win for our church (funds), your homes (cleaner), attendees (good stuff, great prices) and the Landfill (less stuff discarded)!  There are 10 ways to help:  (1.) Donation items; (2.) Donate baked goods; (3.) Help during the sale;  (4.) Put up outdoor signs; (5.) Place ads in the newspapers and online; (6.) Pickup donations; (7.) Assist in the setup of the sale;  (8.) Be the leader for baked goods; (9.) Help pack up after the sale; (10.) Come shop! Sign-up sheets available on the church bulletin board OR e-mail me and let me know you are willing to help...

GRADUATION SUNDAY:  Do you have a 2017 high school or college graduate in your family? On June 11 we will be celebrating “Graduation Sunday”.  We would like to include all of the graduates in our write-up. Please send us the name of your graduate (high school, college, or grad school), the school he or she is graduating from, and his/her future plans. Please submit these to the church office by June 4.

BOOK CLUB:  The book club will meet on June 26th at 1:00pm to choose our books and discussion leaders for the fall. 

TABLECLOTHS AND APRONS:  The Deacon’s closet has been cleaned out. We found excess linens that we would like to find new homes for. There are pink-edged yellow tablecloths (assorted sizes), a brown flowered card table sized tablecloth, an older damask style tablecloth, and assorted gingham embroidered aprons. Anything that is still here on Sunday, June 4th will be donated to the garage sale.

ASBURY STOREHOUSE currently needs bed sheets, pots, and pans. Items can be left in the Fellowship Hall coat room. If you have any questions contact Muriel Gabbey at 377-9177 or Karen Junker at 398-7312.

2017 FUNDRAISING CRUISE UPDATE  The 7 night Australia pre-cruise land package is full but we still have 2 inside cabins on the 12-night Sydney to Auckland Celebrity Cruise sailing Oct 30, 2017 (6 ports in NZ).  Cruise price is $1743 per person and airfare starts about $1200 round trip from Los Angeles. PERINTON FOOD SHELF most needed items include cookies, coffee, sugar, cereal, rice, Jell-O & pudding, pasta mixes, beef stew, sloppy joe mix, hash, mayonnaise, salad dressing, vegetable oil, mustard & ketchup, toothbrushes & toothpaste, deodorant, dish detergent, and laundry detergent.
