STEP UP FOR SENIORS WALK:  The 6th Annual Step Up for Seniors Walk will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 29th at the Fairport Baptist Homes, where the walk will start and finish. Pastor Greg Rupright & Pat May are forming a First Church Walk Team. You can sponsor one or both of them or sign-up to join the Walk Team and then get your own sponsors. To sponsor any person on our First Church Walk Team make check payable to Fairport Baptist Homes Foundation. The Sign-Up Form can be found on the rolling board in Fellowship Hall.

150TH CELEBRATION:  TODAY IS THE DAY. We will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of the construction of our sanctuary. Look around and appreciate what was accomplished in one year without the use of any modern tools or devices. The celebration is for the enjoyment of you, your friends, and others throughout the Fairport/Perinton community. The preparations are nearly complete and plans made over the summer are being activated. The teams responsible for various items have done a great job and are ready to go. We need you there wearing your 150th t-shirt (available from Barb Law in the Fellowship Hall) to help greet our guests from outside the congregation. If you could arrive early and volunteer to help with some jobs, none of which involve heavy lifting (distributing coupons for food trucks, helping with games for the kids, and overseeing the historic display in the Fellowship Hall). Please plan on attending and helping out and most of all having a good time.
