NEWS IN THE PEWS
January 14, 2018
HEALING SERVICE: There will be a Service for Healing & Wholeness in the Snow Room today at 10:45 A.M. All are welcome!
EPISTLE DEADLINE IS THURSDAY: The deadline for the upcoming Epistle newsletter is this Thursday, January 18th.
LOVE THOSE VOLUNTEERS: It’s so great when members of our church family volunteer to help with the many tasks that need doing in our church. Although we have Boards and Committees who head up these tasks, we’ve reduced the number of Board and Committee members so many times there aren’t enough of us to do all that needs doing. That’s why I’m giving an extra special thanks to those who came to help decorate our church and sanctuary for Advent and Christmas (Barb Law, Doug Jones, Dee Jackson, Pastor Greg, Jim Franzen, Sandy Conrad, Jeff Allen, and Kelly Weidman), and those who came to ‘undecorate’ after Christmas despite the frigid weather (Barb Law, Pastor Greg, Dee Jackson, and Jim Franzen). We had wonderful fellowship, snacks, and music. Hope you can join our happy group next year. Thanks Volunteers! ~ Sondra Franzen, Chair, Worship Ministries
THANK YOU to everybody who donated items or money to the Christmas food baskets in 2017. We delivered baskets to 6 families; consisting of 10 adults and 8 children. Each delivery was valued at about $108.00. Donated money was used to buy perishable items for the food baskets. The money people donated, in excess of what was needed, was given to the Perinton Food Shelf. ~Board of Missions and Outreach
