YOUR ELDERLY NEIGHBORS may need a ride to do these simple, but necessary things…like a stop at the pharmacy…a visit to the doctor…a trip to the grocery store. Can you help? If you have a couple of hours a week, or even a couple of hours a month, consider being a volunteer driver. You can select your geographic area and the times you wish to drive. You will be provided with training, and supplemental accident and liability insurance. You
may receive a discount on your automobile insurance. As you drive through life, take someone with you! To learn more about becoming a volunteer driver, call Sr. Anne Guerin at 244-8400, ext. 142, or email, aguerin@lifespan-roch.org
SALEM SOUP KITCHEN volunteers will carpool to the soup kitchen on March 23, leaving at 9:15 AM from our parking lot and returning mid-afternoon. Please join us to help prepare a lunch for those in need.
CONGRATULATIONS to our own Pat May on being selected as “Citizen of the Year” by Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce. A dinner in her honor will be held at the Green Lantern on March 26. Tickets are available though the Chamber of Commerce.
GET A TASTE OF LIFE IN AN EMERGENCY FEEDING CLINIC. The Senior High Class will be offering samples of Plumpy’nut again today for a donation towards World Visions 30-Hour Famine. Plumpy’nut is a vitamin-fortified, peanut-buttery paste with a kid-friendly taste. It’s yummy and helps children bounce back fast from severe malnutrition. Come join the Senior High Class in Fellowship Hall and try a spoonful!
BERTHA AGOR MEMORIAL NURSERY SCHOOL will have an open house on March 25, 5 to 7 PM for all those that would like to learn more about their programs for next year. Please stop by!
